Not a big hiking of day. I had a bed at the Around the Bend hostel for that night.
When I woke up, it was still pretty foggy & some rain here in there.
I left the shelter by 8h30 & got to Dick’s Creek at 10. Just in time for the city shuttle to get me to the hostel.
This was me first “Nero day” (not hiking a full day & spending a partial day off). I got to do my laundry, resupply & go to the local brewery in Hiawassee.
I also did my first two hitch…but I was not alone 😀 we were 4 in all.
