Leaving Tennessee & entering Virginia
Waking up in the dome this morning was nice.
After breakfast, a few of us headed to TN91. There was some trail magic at the trail head this morning.
A few moments after starting the day, I saw the “old barn”
Today again, I slackpacked and hiked with EB & Max.
Towards the end of the day, we made it into Virgina !!!
Just before arriving in Damacus, I saw my first snake 😮
The feeling of making it to Damascus was surreal.
It’s really hard to explain the feeling of being on trail.
As hard & challenging as it is (I feel people do not talk about that a lot, even I do not take picture of me crying & the moments that are hard), I am grateful for everything the trail is bringing me.
