Felt my shin split in the last 30 minutes of the day
I screamed this morning… I wook up when it was still dark outside. I cooked breakfast in my tent vestibule. As I was eating my oatmeal & carnation breakfast, I saw I mice just near my tent entry (mosquitoes netting). My.tent fly was open, so the mice could have been inside my tent !!!
I screamed so loud that it scared off the mice. Then, I realized I screamed …Hope I did not wake-up anyone.
Apart from the mice experience, my day went well.
I enjoyed seing the sunrise.
I received some trail magic from Emoji just before the last uphill of the day: Gatorade, V8, cheese & a clementine.
She also gave us poem.
As the day came to a close, I felt my shin splits a little in the last 30 minutes of the day.
