A nero into Franklin, North Carolina !
As I woke up in the morning, I was looking foward to being at Chica & Sunset hostel that night. They hiked the AT in 2017 & I heard great comments about the place. I can now say it’s a great place to stay!
The hike from camp to the road (Winding Stairs Gap went quick, about an 1 hour & a half.
At the Gap, friends who started trail earlier where waiting their ride into town.
We talked waiting for our respective shuttle rides. We were looking forward to a nice shower, clean clothes & a good meal.
Once arrived at the hostel, I talked more to my follow hiker who had also a room reserved.
It’s always a please to talk to others, get to know more about them & why they are hiking the trail!
