Day 93: Passing 1200 miles in big heat
Mile Marker: 1206.3 Miles today: 21.1
My parents dropped me off at the trail head by 7:20 AM this morning! Yay, lots of miles ahead today untill I get picked-up near a gravel Game Commission road ! It was either a 21 miles day or a 11 mile one…I choose to do the 21 mile day.
Started the day with the climb out of Lickdale. Do do so, the trails goes over a nice footbridge, and under the highway (I enjoyed it). There were a few nice overlooks. Around 13:00 PM I hit some trail magic at PA645. I ate some food and looked at the snake that was in a tree just near by. I remember a few fallen trees on trail just before getting to the road.
The next stop of the day was the 501 Shelter, and guess what? When I arrived, Sopita & Avalanche we’re having some BBQ Chicken Pizza🍕 I so happy to get a slice or two 🙂 Just near the shelter, a bird was feeding it’s babies in their nest. So so cute.
I got to mile 1200 aroud 4:20 PM ! Yay, it’s also such a good feeling to pass a new 100 mile marker.
Just near the gravel road where my parents where picking me up, I passed the the Fort Dietrich Snyder Monument. My parents where already waiting for me when I got to the gravel road. Of to the hotel for a shower & a nice dinner with my parents.

Day 94: Only 1 water refill & the largest Cabela’s
Mile Marker: 1220.3 Miles today: 14
I got on trail this morning at 8:00AM. Started the day passing through a burnt forest.
It was a realtively normal day on trail (with the rocks), but with only 1 water source to refill for the day. I got to see an other nice turtle around noon.
Finished the day around 3:PM in Port Clinton. My parents just arrived when I got there.
After the day on trail, I had a wonderfull dinner at Logan’s Road House with my parents, Sopita, Avalanche, Tree frog and Yogi I believe ! But just before, I visited the biggest Cabela’s in the World. It is located in Hamburg, PA. I took so many more picture of the Cabala’s that day than I took of the trail 😂
