With my feet hurting so bad from my pair of shoes, I decided to take a shuttle up to Daleville at the outfitter in order to have new shoes today.
I can not walk more miles in pain.
After the drive to Daleville & back, I went to the post office to send my now “old” shoes home.
I can not wear them thru-hiking, but perhaps I will be able to wear them day hiking 🤷♀️
I also sent home my sister a birthday card 🎂
That night I ate a good steak (protein is always a good thing…we do not eat enough of it on trail).
