Hi, I’m Jessica

I love being outside & pushing my comfort zone !

As a kid, I played outside all the time & I lived in the great canadian north in my youth. That is probably where my love of the outdoors was born.

But for a while during my studies, I stop going outside and trying new things…my confidence was just not the same. Then, I did my first road trip ever ! A solo road trip!!

I loved everything about it: trying sea kayaking, via ferrata, hiking & the people !!!

After this trip, I slowly started doing some day hikes close to home. Then further from home. After a while I did some small multi-day hikes: 2 days, then 3 days, then more !

With time I realized the growth that backpacking gave me.

Why this blog?

In my preparation of my first ever thru-hike, after being aksed by friends & familly how they could follow me on trail, I decided to create this blog to share my experience! And, hopefully, to encourage & inspire all those wishing to start hiking, a sport, anything… to start one step at a the time!

I enjoy taking pictures ! You will see tons of them 🙂
